Volcano Explorers!
The Volcano Explorers program is a pilot program being offered by the Mount St. Helens Institute, and is designed to introduce 4th, 5th or 6th grade students in low income and/or urban communities to the fascinating scientific studies occurring on the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.
We are working with several partner organizations to create this amazing program. Our long term goal is to bring Mount St. Helens to school children throughout the country in an effort to spark their curiosity about science in general and volcanoes specifically.
